Q. Is my donation tax-deductible?
A. Your donation may be tax-deductible as we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please consult with your tax preparation specialist or accountant for information on your specific situation.
Q. If I am making an online donation, how do I know how much of my donation is being credited?
A. We use Square as our online donation platform. Square takes a minimal processing fee, just as would occur in a retail setting. Currently, these fees average under 5%, ensuring that at least 95 cents of each dollar donated goes toward our student musicians and performers. If you would like to ensure 100% of your donation is credited to the East Lake Silver Sound, please follow the instructions to donate by check.
Q. I am a local business owner. Can I donate services or items that the East Lake Silver Sound needs in lieu of a cash donation?
A. We love partnering with local businesses! Please email president@eastlakeband.com to discuss how we may be able to work together.
Q. My company would like to make a donation to and/or sponsor the East Lake Silver Sound, but our financial processes prevent us from using this site.
